[dropcap]B[/dropcap]osco.ng is a fairly new startup and online shopping (ecommerce) website that prides itself on catering to a niche market. People who don’t mind buying pre-owned clothing items. Now as a bonafide thrift and vintage shopping queen from all my amazing haunts in Baltimore, DC- Philly, LA and New York- I can tell you I was quite intrigued and excited about this particular site. So of course I had to test it out didn’t I- nothing to do with my shoppaholicism .. is that even a word??? Here’s what I found…
When they said gently used.. they meant it. I ordered a pair of shoes (don’t ask me why- even I don’t know why) .. so they were size 8, UK , Vera Wang, Electric Blue… I was thinking I was finally going to be the Electric eclectic lady in blue… exciting stuff right?
Well they got to me on time.. but unfortunately- they were the wrong size (UK 4) way too small… major issue .. other than which everything else seemed to be as promised as it was presented on the site.
Fast forward to a few days later when I decided I was too curious and still excited enough about the possibilities this site was offering the average Nigerian who cannot afford brand new luxury goods but still wants to look fly.. so here goes…my interview with Bosko.ng plus my review below. Have a listen!
